Snick (B.A.M.N)

How It Started

Born January of 1983, in Mexico, MO. Snick would get his nickname from his family as a child. He would eventually shorten it, and it is what you know him as today. As the younger brother of BRP, Snick has been exposed to the rap game for close to a decade now.  Initially, Snick made his debut as an 12 year old on the Bigg Regg single "As We Lay",  ft. on the Face The Nation Album (1995). Thou he did not write his own verse, Snick spit the verse very nicely, and it is still often quoted around the streets of the 'Co. After that album, there would emerged a lot of young rappers in Mexico, MO. At age 14, Snick would go to Bigg Regg and tell him that he he wanted to start a group with some of his boyz....

Snick would go on to hook up with childhood partners Feve, A.D aka A.Thizzle, and Muse aka Playboy, to form S.T.H. (Small Town Hustlas). Their styles complemented each other very well, and as youngstas to the game they held their own. Snick would later add one more member to the group-Bridge, formely known as Optimo (who is currently in the United States Air Force). S.T.H. has been featured on many projects around the streets of Missouri, such as KillaCo Records and 12 N 13 Records

Ups & Downs

Doing the college thing after graduating high school, Snick had alot to focus on at one time. Between school, playing football (inwhich he was a stand-out athlete), and other factors in his life,  would always write, whether it be a rhyme, a song, a letter, anything- he kept the pin in his hand. "Writing and rapping were a way to release & express ways I was feeling. I have never been much for just openly telling someone the way I felt, unless obviously a point needed to be made. Other then that I wasn't much for bullsh*t conversation. People tend to take advantage of situations they know to much about. But other then that, I love music, so what better way to express yourself." -Snick

After one year of college Snick decided to take a
break from school. He wanted to take time off and decide if school was really his best option at the time.  This move would prove to be one of the most unsure and hardest decisions he would face. He went back to Mexico, MO. where he had spent times with nothing, sometimes no place to even sleep at night. Soon after, him and someone of real importance to hime would decide it was best to cut things off. Which until this day  is still a topic not comfortably nor often discussed with him..."

In a struggling point in his life, Snick would eventually hook-up with D.sin.C., and it would change a lot of things for the two of them. D.sin.C. & Snick would spend hours & hours writing music. They would link up with Que and thats when they would come up with the tracks like 'Remedy' & 'XFactor'- just to name a few.

Boonedoc Saints

Boonedoc Saints: People around the 'CO often referred to it as being from the boonedocks or boonies. After watching an film intitled Boondock Saints (a story about two brothers set out to kill the true evil in the world), Snick went to D.sin.C with the idea- they would go on to form the dio Boonedoc Saints. "If you have seen the movie, you know how it can get! But thing is.. this ain't no movie."

The Latest

As he gets older, Snick is filling his roll nicely. In addition to his musical exploits, he spent another year in school majoring in Video Production. Also a fan of many different genres of music, Snick is looking to work with a lot of artist when the opportunity comes about. He is currently working on starting his own label possibly known as: Fa Real Doe Recordz. You may also notice he picked up the alias B.a.m.n. (By any/all means necessary). It stemmed from an idea Snick got after a friend had told him he tend to have split personalities, and that he was somewhat bipolar.

Already somewhat fimilar with the drums, Snick would like to take a stab at learning the acqoustic, and possibly the piano. Like his hot creativity and with hot flows, and chores to tracks like: Settle the Score, 'GO HARD', 'So Smoky High', Play Things Straight,' 'Ass Like That' just to name a few)- Snick is damn near guaranteed to keep it coming! He might very muchn be one of the best kept secrets in the rap game!!

You'll be hearing from me soon! Fa real doe-keep it real tho! B.A.M.N

$BIGG REGG PROFIT$

Profit Starts a movement in Mid-MO

BRP started rapping back in the early 80s. He would hang out with older kids who were getting all the hip-hop music coming out of New York and California. Growing up listening to artist like RUN DMC, FAT BOYZ, UTFO, KRS ONE,and getting mix tapes from the radio battles with Red Alert and MalaMal with stuff like the bridge. BRP & QUE start rapping together in Jr. High. Que would make beat breaks off of tapes, him and BRP would set in Ques' grandmothers' basement dubbing beats.
Over the years their love for Hip-Hop grew & they wanted to make a living doing it (even before it was focused around making big money, and more when it was about  the love for hip-hop). BRP was rapping in talent shows, park days, school events, anywhere he was allowed to get on the mic.
One of his first and biggest highlights was at the age of 17. BRP was ask to write and perform a song for Miss America 1990, Debbie Turner. Mrs. Turner, originally from St. Louis, resided in BRP hometown of Mexico, MO. After that moment he new that this is what he want to do with his life, but ........ the streets were callin as well.

Being pulled in two directions BRP tried to chose between getting money and the music. He also wanted to know about the business of entertainment, so he decide to go to college to further this interest. Going to the Art Institute in Atlanta, GA in 1992, then after one year, transfering to Columbia College in Chicago, IL.  After a year BRP decide to start Freak
Nation Records and moved back to Mexico. He would hook up with Que, along with,
K-Swift, Kendra, Lo7 aka Lowicked, and eventaully bring in his younger brother Snick. Putting out the Singles 'Dont cha Know' and
'Chillin', which would hit big...locally. After working on the Lp in 1994, it didn't get released because of poor sound, but they went back in the studio and made 'Face the Nation,' which was hot, but with no money to back it
it didn't go far..

Now back,  BRP is ready to put it down
with his laid back, but hard hitting flows. Keeping things all street, along with a nac for pleasing the ladies. Not only does this camp bring a side to the rap industry not really touched at the moment, the camps sound has consistently improved over time and is ready to make some big noise. This here is music, its not just rapping!

"I got holes already dug, for fucking wit Freak Nation!" -BRP
